giving treeGIVING TREE: There are still 8 tags left on the giving tree.  If anyone still needs tags, please contact Mindy, and she will pull them for you.  The gifts need to be back by Sunday, December 20th.  The United Way family will be delivered on Monday, and arrangements are being made for the other family this week.

bookclubBOOK CLUBThe next book is “The Weight of Ink” by Rachel Kadish.  Time, date and place is TBD.  Sue and Brenda are working on the next list of books, so if anyone has any suggestions, please let them know.

warm clothing (2)WARM WINTER CLOTHINGPRAISE GOD!! We got a thank you from the mission saying that all of the coats that we donated are gone.   If anyone still has any coats to donate and missed the first delivery , they are more than happy to take more.  We are keeping the boxes in the fellowship area, and we can get them to the mission.  

Christmas EveCHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE: Join us as we  Celebrate Jesus’ birth at our Christmas Eve Worship  Service! It will be a pre-recorded service will be posted December 24th, at 4 PM on both Facebook and Youtube.

This Week at Celebration

hand to hand 2 (2)_LIHAND 2 HANDWith the Christmas holidays approaching, we are looking for donations of small gift items, such as toys, coloring books,  crayons, or mittens.  These items need to  be placed in our donation box in the foyer of church by Sunday, December 13th, as the next week will be the last of the year for them..  Your support is much appreciated Any questions, contact Terri Albrecht or Sheri Doctor.

giving treeGIVING TREE: The Fellowship and Mission’s team will be put the Giving Tree up.  If you want tags, but are uncomfortable coming into church, email the church, and Mindy will pull those you want and give you the information.  The items need to be wrapped and back to the church by December 20th for delivery.

THIS WEEK AT CELEBRATION

masksMANDATORY MASKS: The Reopening team along with the council have decided that we are going to remain open to in person church, but masks are mandatory at all times while in the church.  We believe in person is important, but so is slowing the spread. and following the health department guidelines. I know many who are on both sides of the mask debate, but please be respectful of the churches position and wear them.

Bible StudyEVE’S MONDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY: Monday night bible study will be meeting this week at 6:45 in classroom 1.

oasisOASIS: With the alarmingly increase in Covid cases in  Muskegon county, and with many schools going back to virtual, Julie has decided after prayer and careful consideration, that Oasis is going to be cancelled for the foreseeable future.  We need to be part of the solution to getting the virus back under control.

FallCleanUpFALL YARD CLEAN UP: The church has had a request for help from a family.  It has been scheduled for this Saturday November 21st  at 10 am.  The group will be meeting at church and heading over to help.  Anyone who is still interested please let Matt or Mindy know, and plan on meeting at the church then.
