About Us

The December 2015 article in “The Banner” magazine highlighted Celebration and our vision as a church:  Former Car Dealership Repurposed for Worship”.  The history of Celebration is an example of God’s work of taking worn out and broken people, and making them beautiful, and useful for him through Jesus Christ.

Even our building reflects this philosophy.  We left one of the old garage doors in the worship center to constantly remind us of the wonders that God does in the lives of his people.  “God can re-purpose anyone or anything, even an old used car dealership, to serve his purpose of bringing all people to him.”

FOUNDATIONS

VISION

Determined to make a difference, we boldly reach out with love to our neighbors, and celebrate our relationship with God together.

Our vision is based on the Great Commission – “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20)

And the Great Commandment – “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.  The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:30-31)

MISSION

Celebration Community Church exists to CELEBRATE by:

  • KNOWING Christ (Phil. 3:1-11)
  • GROWING in faith (Col. 3:1-17)
  • SERVING those we meet (Matt. 25:17-30) and
  • SHARING God’s love (2 Cor. 5:16-21)

These areas are a process for growth in your journey with Jesus. Celebration’s objective is to keep moving people towards maturity, by encouraging in these personal spiritual commitments. Although all four of these areas interrelate and overlap, we begin with membership in God’s family, and continue by growing in each of these areas.
