THIS WEEK AT CELEBRATION

masksMANDATORY MASKS: The Reopening team along with the council have decided that we are going to remain open to in person church, but masks are mandatory at all times while in the church.  We believe in person is important, but so is slowing the spread. and following the health department guidelines. I know many who are on both sides of the mask debate, but please be respectful of the churches position and wear them.

Bible StudyEVE’S MONDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY: Monday night bible study will be meeting this week at 6:45 in classroom 1.

BOOK CLUB: The next book is “News of the World” by Paulette Jiles.  It will be December 9th, at 6:30pm in Brenda Swanson’s heated garage.


giving treeGIVING TREE: The Fellowship and Mission’s team will be putting the Giving Tree after Thanksgiving.  It has been decided that we as a church are going to be adopting 2 families this year.

oasisOASIS: With the alarmingly increase in Covid cases in  Muskegon county, and with many schools going back to virtual, Julie has decided after prayer and careful consideration, that Oasis is going to be cancelled for the foreseeable future.  We need to be part of the solution to getting the virus back under control.

FallCleanUpFALL YARD CLEAN UP: The church has had a request for help from a family.  It has been scheduled for this Saturday November 21st  at 10 am.  The group will be meeting at church and heading over to help.  Anyone who is still interested please let Matt or Mindy know, and plan on meeting at the church then.

mm2MEN’S MINISTRY MEETING: Gary will be leading the Men’s Ministry again on November 17th at 7am, at church.  Nothing to prepare for, as material will be handed out at the meeting.  All men are invited to come, and I expect it to last no more than one hour.

1: Child needs to be signed in before Oasis

2: Oasis is designed for children kindergarten through 5th grade.

3: Temperatures will be  taken before entering the room

4: MASKS WILL BE WORN THE ENTIRE TIME

5: One parent is to pick up child (not past the Tiki hut during the last song.)

THIS WEEK AT CELEBRATION

hand to hand 2 (2)_LIHAND 2 HAND: Hand 2 Hand is helping feed 22 kids at Campbell school this  semester.  With the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays  approaching, we are looking for donations of small gift items, such as toys, coloring books, crayons, or mittens.  These items can be placed in our donation box in the foyer of church.  Your support is much appreciated.  Any questions, contact Terri   Albrecht or Sheri Doctor.

FallCleanUpFALL YARD CLEAN UPThe church has had a request for help from a family.  We are looking at organizing a group for this family, and maybe other families that may need help.  If you need help please let the office know.  If you are willing to help, there is a sign-up sheet on the information table.

council meeting4COUNCIL MEETING:  The Council Meeting has been rescheduled to November 2 for the month.  

PastorPASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH: We are a little behind this year with all that is going on. The month of October is Pastor Appreciation Month.  There is a basket on the information table for cards, and notes (and anything else you think Pastor Matt may like.)  Let him know how much he is appreciated here at Celebration.
