Things to Know This Week at Celebration

SPRING FORWARD – Remember to set your clocks ahead this Saturday night or even during the afternoon.  Bad things happen when we forget!

COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS – The Glenside community will hodld the 6th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 31, at McGraft Park.  They are looking for volunteers to help set up, serve donuts and juice, and in other roles.  Contact Pastor Matt for more info.

  • Pray for Doug.  Pray that God would do what is necessary to bring him back to living each day with Jesus.
  • Pray for Sandy Ring’s friend, Sheri, whose daughter passed away recently.  Another daughter died a few years ago.  May God give her comfort and peace in this trying time.
  • Pray for couples who will be divorced soon barring God’s direct intervention.
  • Pray for couples beginning married life together.
  • Pray for engaged couples who are setting foundational elements of their married life.
  • Pray for Reyes’ good friend Jerry in San Antonio who is in ICU after a massive heart attack.
  • Pray for children who have walked away from Jesus.
  • Pray for Dave and Kathy Burlingame’s son David who is having back surger on Thursday.  May God bring healing.
  • Pray for families growing up and God’s leading in their lives.
  • Pray for those dealing with abuse in their lives.  May God lift them from the sinking hole they feel.
  • Pray for great things to happen at/and after the Community Prayer Event on March 18, 5:00-6:30 P.M. at The Holiday Inn in Muskegon.
  • Pray for the lonely who are looking for connections.
  • Praise God for a successful eye surgery for Jackie Knight last week.  May her good recovery continue.
  • Pray for Jackie Knight’s grandpa who is still sick.
  • Pray for Reyes’ mom who is having trouble with her thyroid.
  • Pray for Char Espinoza’s mom who had open heart surgery recently.  She is doing well and recovering.
  • Praise God for the great youth event at Hot Rod Harleys last Thursday night.
  • Pray for the women going to the DeColoras weekend on March 15-18.

World Missions Prayers: PRAY FOR IRAN

  • Pray for a great harvest resulting from faithful believers sharing bold accounts of their faith.

  • Pray for the church to rapidly multiply and mature despite horrendous persecution against non-Muslim peoples.

  • Pray for Christians to capitalize on unprecedented opportunities to spread the Gospel via Internet, TV, and media.
