COUNCIL MEETING: The Council Meeting has been rescheduled to November 2 for the month.
PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH: We are a little behind this year with all that is going on. The month of October is Pastor Appreciation Month. There is a basket on the information table for cards, and notes (and anything else you think Pastor Matt may like.) Let him know how much he is appreciated here at Celebration.
WARM WINTER CLOTHING DRIVE : this is the last week. If anyone has anything please try and get it to the church this week. If you have something, and cannot get it to church, please contact the office so we can make arrangements to get it picked up.
DIRECTORY UPDATE: The elders will be working with those whom we do not have pictures for. We would like to see everyone’s faces.
STARTING LOCAL MISSION TEAM: The Deacons are looking at starting an Area Mission Team, where we can put our mission statement of Serving into action. Anyone who would be willing to serve on this team, please contact a deacon or sign up on the sign-up sheet on the information booth. Let’s put your ideas into action to help our community.
EVE’S WEDNESDAY NIGHT PRAYER MEETING: Wednesday Night Prayer meeting will be meeting this week at 6:45 in classroom 1.
BOOK CLUB: The next book is “Room” by Emma Donoghue. It will be at IHOP on November 11th at 6:30 pm.
FALL BACK: This Sunday, November 1 is the date to set your clocks back an hour. Don’t forget and be early for church.
OASIS: This Sunday, November 1st start up and will be following these rules:
1: Child needs to be signed in before Oasis
2: Temperatures will be taken before entering the room
3: MASKS WILL BE WORN THE ENTIRE TIME
4: One parent is to pick up child (not past the Tiki hut.)
