Wishing Everyone A Happy New Year!!

YOUR SAFETY IS OUR MAIN CONCERN: Many questions about meeting in person have come up. Yes we are still meeting in person. Every  person’s health and safety are top on the list while doing this.  The worship center is set up for this, as the chairs have been moved to respect requirements for social distancing, masks  are mandatory, and the entire church is sanitized every week (a HUGE  THANK YOU to Doug Bergman and Eric Fifolt for  doing this!!!) We understand everyone is taking precautions, We just wanted everyone to know what steps the church has taken.

PASTOR MATT WILL BE ON VACATION: Matt and Carla are going on vacation for a week starting January 6th to the 13th.  If you need to talk to someone during this time, please contact your care elder.  Pastor Tolbert will be preaching on Sunday, January 10th.

NEW SERIES STARTING JANUARY 17TH: WHY I AM A CHRISTIAN: Why would anyone consider being a Christian?  Many are intrigued with Jesus, even admire him.  But they aren’t convinced they should follow Jesus…yet.  Join us in this series as we examine compelling reasons for becoming a Christian.

BOOK CLUB: The next book is “The Weight of Ink” by Rachel Kadish (as I have been told, it is a long one, so everyone needs to get reading.)  It will be January 13th in Brenda’s garage at 6:30 pm.  Sue and Brenda are working on the next list of books.  If you have any recommendations, please let them know.

WARM WINTER CLOTHING: We are continuing to collect any warm clothing for the Muskegon Rescue Mission, and for anyone who may need it.  Please continue to drop them off on the table and in the boxes. 

MEN’S MINISTRY MEETING: There will be a Men’s Ministry meeting on    January 19th at 7am.  All materials will be  provided and all men are welcome.  Any     questions, please contact Gary Post.
