CELEBRATING OUR SENIORS: It is that time of year again where we at Celebration have seniors that are graduating. Please show your love and support to our seniors. Below you will find the information for their graduation open houses:
Brandon Eenigenburg (WMC): May 30th from 1-3 at Matt and Carla’s
Matt DuRose (Mona Shores): TBD
Cole Crabtree (WMC): TBD
Adrianna Johnson (Reeths Puffer): TBD
Autumn Espinoza (GVSU): TBD
HELP NEEDED: Lynn Pluger’s sister, Jill, needs caregivers. She is in a wheelchair and has a service dog. The help needed is help with personal care, housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation in her van. This is a paid position and experience not necessary (training provided.) If you are (or know someone) interested, please let Lynn or Paul know.
BOOK CLUB: The next book is “The Hidden Things,” by Jamie Mason. It will be in Brenda Swanson’s garage (or on the deck if the weather is nice) on May 19th at 6:30 pm.
MASKS: This is just a reminder for all. We are starting to see many new faces back in church on Sunday, some of which we have not seen since the start of Covid (due to health reasons.) I know this is a debatable issue (for some) but for the safety of everyone, the Council is still requiring that a mask be worn at all times in the building.
CELEBRATION NEEDS YOUR SERVICE: It is that time of year again when we have elders and deacons that have fulfilled their time of service. We are in need of three people. If you are willing to fill one of the 2 elder or the 1 deacon position, or you know of someone that you think would be an asset to one of them, please let any council member know.
CONTINUING SERMON SERIES: We Believe: The Apostles Creed has been the unifying statement of faith for all Christians for 2000 years. Join us as we dig into the foundational basics which still unite us. Even today, this is the good news which WE BELIEVE! This week is: The Power of Forgiveness.
