NEW SERIES STARTING NEXT SUNDAY: New Sermon Series-Declutter: Everyone’s junk drawer is too full of random items. We have accumulated them over the years. Yet many items are totally useless. It is the same with our faith. Join us as we declutter our “spiritual junk drawers” so we can clearly see the things of faith which are useful in our life with Jesus.
CALLING ALL SINGERS AND MUSICIANS: Katie is looking to add willing volunteers to the worship team. She is looking for anyone who can sing, play an instrument, or wants to learn AV (sound and slides.) If you’re interested in more information, please let Katie know!
NURSERY COORDINATOR NEEDED: We are looking for a new Nursery Team Leader. Donna Fairfield has decided to step down with her and Mike being gone over the winter. The church is fully open back up, so we need to fill this position as soon as possible. Anyone interested, please let Matt or Mindy know.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY: The next meeting of the Women’s Bible Study will be TOMORROW, August 11th, from 10-12 in the Fireside Room. The book the women are studying is “The Longing in Me,” by Sheila Walsh.
BOOK CLUB: The next book is “Close Your Eyes, Hold Hands” by Chris Bohjalian . It will be at El Burrito Loco TOMORROW August 11 at 6:30 pm.
END OF SUMMER CELEBRATION: Our End of Summer Celebration will start August 22nd and will continue on August 29th. Our end of summer Hotdog Roast will also be the 29th.The Fellowship team will have a sign-up soon for dishes for the Hotdog roast. It is going to be a big event that will need many volunteers to make it happen.
