MUSKEGON DAY OF CARING: Muskegon Day of Caring this year is this Friday, September 10, 8:30AM-2:00pm. There is still time to sign up, so contact Pastor Matt, if you are willing. The Day of Caring brings hundreds of volunteers together to serve in our community.
CROP WALK: This years crop walk is October 3rd. If there is anyone interested in doing the Crop Walk for hunger, please let Mindy know ASAP, as she will have to get you registered.
MENTORS NEEDED: Want to make new friends?? Come and join us at Friendship Ministries-a Christian club to work with friends with special needs. It is Thursday nights from 6:30-7:30 September-April with lots of time off. Please consider joining to be a mentor to a special needs friend. Contact Sharon Bergman or Mindy for any questions, or to become a mentor.
SERIES CONTINUES SUNDAY: Sermon Series-Declutter: Everyone’s junk drawer is too full of random items. We have accumulated them over the years. Yet many items are totally useless. It is the same with our faith. Join us as we declutter our “spiritual junk drawers” so we can clearly see the things of faith which are useful in our life with Jesus. This Sunday: Sharing God’s Love.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY: The last meeting of the summer for the Women’s Bible study will be September 15th from 10am-12. The book is “The Longing in Me,” by Sheila Walsh. It will be in the Fireside Room. (This is the 3rd Wednesday of the month.)
BOOK CLUB: The next book is “The Clockmaker’s Daughter” by Kate Morton . It will be at IHOP on September 15th at 6:30 pm.
