CHRISTMAS CAROLING: Katie is looking for a group of people to go Christmas caroling on Wednesday, December 15th. Meet at church at 5:15 pm and carpool to Roosevelt Park Nursing Home, and then to Christian Manor. No “good” singing required. Bring a buddy and let’s have a great night spreading some Christmas cheer! Please let Katie know if you are planning on coming and with how many people so she is able to get enough cars to transport everyone.
BOOK CLUB: The next book is “The Vanishing Half” by Brit Bennett. It will be December 15th at 6:30pm at Bob Evens on Sternberg.
CONGREGATIONAL MEETING: Mark your calendars for our upcoming Congregational Meeting this Sunday, December 5th for our Budget approval for the upcoming 2022 year. For those who are not able to attend, the proposed budget and explanation was sent via email to all members.
GIVING TREE: This year the Fellowship team adopted a family through the United Way. Mom is 26 and dad is 41. They have three girls ages 9, 7 and 18 months. The tree will be set up for Sunday, November 28th with the tags and will run through December 19th or so.
HAND 2 HAND: Hand to hand will be packing on Wednesday afternoon at 1 pm due to no school on Friday. Anyone interested in helping pack, please contact Terri Albrecht or Sheri Doctor.
CONTINUING SERMON SERIES: Songs of Advent: Christmas is a time for music! Whatever your musical taste, songs are all around us for this short season. In the weeks leading to Christmas, we will look at the first five Christmas carols in history. They are the most beautiful Christmas songs ever written! CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE: We will be hosting a Christmas Eve Service on Friday, December 24th at 6:30 pm. Come and join us for a night of Christmas carols and to hear the story of the TRUE meaning of Christmas.
