CHRISTMAS CAROLING: Katie is still looking for a group of people to go Christmas caroling this Wednesday, December 15th. Meet at church at 5:15 pm and carpool to Roosevelt Park Nursing Home, and then to Christian Manor. No “good” singing required. Please consider joining them as this is another outreach event for the community.
BOOK CLUB: The next book is “The Vanishing Half” by Brit Bennett. It will be TOMORROW , December 15th at 6:30pm at Bob Evens on Sternberg.
GIVING TREE: Praise God all the tags were taken and people were asking what more they can do. We have such a generous congregation. Reminder that all the gifts need to be here by Sunday, for delivery next week.
HAND 2 HAND: Hand to hand will be packing on Thursday afternoon at 1 pm for the two week break at the school. Anyone interested in helping pack, please contact Terri Albrecht or Sheri Doctor.
CONTINUING SERMON SERIES: Songs of Advent: Christmas is a time for music! Whatever your musical taste, songs are all around us for this short season. In the weeks leading to Christmas, we will look at the first five Christmas carols in history. They are the most beautiful Christmas songs ever written! Join us as we listen to the Songs of Christmas. First song from the Playlist is: The Song of Zechariah.
CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE: We will be hosting a Christmas Eve Service on Friday, December 24th at 6:30 pm. Come and join us for a night of Christmas carols and to hear the story of the TRUE meaning of Christmas.
SEEKERS SMALL GROUP: The Seekers will be meeting Sunday December 19th, after the service. They will be studying the book of 1st Samuel. Linda has sent out the list, so contact her if you have any questions. This is open to new people who would like to join.
WORK BEE: The Facility team is having another work bee TOMORROW, December 15th, at both 10 am, and 5:30pm. They are working to get the back room cleared out, for the sandblasting of the ceiling the end of this week or beginning of next week. Please come out and help.
