1. Annual Chili Cook-Off
Sunday, October 15, plan on attending one of the best events of the year! Bring a pot of your chili and go for the trophy! Invite a friend who may enjoy this tasty adventure!
2. Student Ministry Leaf Raking
Saturday, October 28 at 9:00AM our students will be raking leaves for people who need help. We will need some vehicles to transport the leaves to the compost site too. We will end with lunch at church around noon.
3. Book Club TONIGHT
Join us tonight, October 11 at 6:30PM, at the Olive Garden by the mall as we talk about the book “Bellman and Black” by Diane Setterfield. Invite a friend who loves books too! See you there!

PRAYERS POINTS:
Pray for Lynn Pluger as she continues to go through her cancer treatments.
Pray for 4-year old Nova in Kalamazoo who has cancer. May the care basket brighten her day and those who love her.
Pray for Brandon E.’s friend Sam whose dad is near the end of his fight with cancer.
Pray for Ed Cohea’s friend, Levi, who has a cyst in his intestines and is in great pain.
Pray for people we love who are presently making poor choices.
Pray for the new members class attendees. May they continue to make Celebration their home church.
Pray for those seeking God’s will in their relationships but are still confused.
1) Pray for supporting nations to be wise in their programs and not cause diminished work ethic among Ethiopians.
2) Pray for a resurgence of the deep Christian beliefs held by this nation from the earliest Church history.
3) Pray for militant Muslims to know the truth of Jesus Christ and to stop persecuting believers.
