PENTECOST SUNDAY
There was great excitement for Jesus’ followers after he arose. Then he left. Jesus ascended into heaven. He said he would come back but when. Then, 50 days after Jesus arose, God poured out his Spirit! What a wonderful day! This Sunday we celebrate this special day with the Church around the world.
CONGREGATIONAL MEETING
We will have a congregational meeting on May 20 after church. Much of the meeting will be about the progress in the building project at church and other ministry reports. We will approve additional leaders for the upcoming year. Brian Vredevoogd has agreed to be considered for elder and there are others who are still pondering their decision.
SUMMER SERMON SERIES
Some sermons are considered great for a time but end up being quickly forgotten. Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount which has lasted for almost 2000 years. It was and still is ground breaking and fresh then. Join us as we hear the ever relevant words of Jesus in his Greatest Sermon Ever.
