OFFERING FOR SOLAR BIBLES
Sunday we collected $368 or Dave DeBoer to buy 10 Solar Bibles for his trip to Mozambique at the end of May! For a country where half of the people cannot read the Bible, this audio Bible is important for ministry. Dave is leaving to visit and work with our friend Brenda Lange with Orphans Unlimited. We pray the Bibles will be useful in ministry for Brenda and her team. Great job Celebration!
CONGREGATIONAL MEETING
We will have a congregational meeting on May 20 after church. Much of the meeting will be about the progress in the building project at church and other ministry reports. We will approve additional leaders for the upcoming year. Brian Vredevoogd has agreed to be considered for elder and there are others who are still pondering their decision.

PRAYERS
- Pray for the family of Howard Cole, Pastor Matt’s wrestling coach, who died last week.
- Pray for those “looking for a home church and follow God’s path in ministry”.
- Pray for those dealing abuse and how to move forward after traumatic events.
- Praise God for a quick sale of the Serene’s home!
- Praise God for the great progress in Lynn Pluger’s recovery from her bone marrow transplant. She should be released from the hospital this week!
- Continue to pray for the construction at church and that we might use it well for God’s glory!
- Pray for our Community Police Officer, Armando Alamillo.
- Pray for people seeking employment.
- Pray for world peace. Really.
- Praise God for good doctors visits!
- Pray for students feeling anxiety and stress at school.
- Pray for Annette going through a rehab center again. May God give her all she needs for it to be successful.
- Pray for those with unspoken medical issues.
- Pray for Dave DeBoer’s brother Dave who is going in May to visit Brenda from Orphans Unlimited in Mozambique.
- Pray for those who have been in a “spiritual valley” for a while with little hope in sight.
- Pray for unity among Christians.
- Pray for Kazakh Christians to seize opportunities to evangelize Central Asian immigrants.
- Pray for heads of families to place their hope in Christ instead of in shamanistic practices.
- Pray for well-trained, godly leaders despite most Bible schools and seminaries being closed.
