PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH
The month of October is Pastor Appreciation Month. There is a basket on the information table (for the month) for cards, and notes for Pastor Matt. We will appreciate him with a cake after the service Sunday, October 20.
SEEKERS SMALL GROUP
The Seekers small group will be meeting on October 27, after the service. Linda Bergman has sent out an email to those in the group. They will be studying Deuteronomy 15-24.
YOUTH MINISTRIES MEETING
This Sunday, October 27, the Youth Ministries will have a meeting at 6:00 pm. Students will continue with “More than a Feeling” series. Come join us for fellowship, and fun! For more information contact Darla Baird.
CARE PACKAGES FOR OUR COLLEGE STUDENTS
The week there will be three shoe boxes set up for our college students. This is the stretch before the holidays that some get homesick, so the boxes are for letters, notes, and small snacks. This way Anika, Ivy, and River know we are here supporting them. The boxes will be out on the 20th and 27th, so they can get them before break.
17TH ANNUAL CHILI COOK-OFF
Sunday, November 3, will be our annual chili cook-off, after the service. There is a sign-up sheet at the information booth, so please sign-up, and join in on the fun.
BOOK CLUB
The next book club book is “The Keeper of Lost Things,” by Ruth Hogan. Their next meeting is at El Burrito Loco, on November 6th at 6:30 pm.
