Celebration Midweek – January 23

COMMUNITY PRAYER EVENT
Gather for prayer with people from area churches on Sunday, January 27, 6:00PM at Folkerts Community Center.  There are so many things to pray for: the city of Muskegon, our county, our churches, our nation, etc.  So, join us as we take these things before our God together!

GAME NIGHT
Everyone is invited to this great event! WHY?  Because everyone needs a little more fun in their life!  Join us on February 8, 6:30-8:30PM at church!  Bring your favorite game and a few friends who need to have fun in their life!  It’ll be the best time you have all winter!

BOOK CLUB
Our next book is “Rules of Civility” by Amor Towles.  We will meet on Tuesday, February 12 at 6:30 at Bob Evans on Sternberg.  Contact Brian or Sue Vredevoogd for more info at bvrede13@aol.com.

Pray for loved ones who battle depression and suicidal thoughts.  May they know God and their family loves them still!

DIABETES PREVENTION CLASSWe are partnering with the YMCA to host a class for people at high-risk of diabetes!  It starts January 21 at 1:00PM.  WHY?  13% of people over age 20 in Muskegon County are diabetic.  Many more don’t even know they are at risk of becoming diabetic where your life will dramatically change, especially your insurance rates.  For many, this can be prevented.  Contact Pastor Matt or the Muskegon YMCA at for more information about this class.

SOUP, SALAD, & PIE LUNCHEON
Nothing is better than a luncheon indoors with friends from Celebration during the winter!  Join us this Sunday, January 13 after church.  Sign up at the info booth to bring an item!  This is one of the best meals you will ever get!

Every loving parent wants their children to succeed in life.  The Play to Learn class helps parents start their child down this road.  It is a great way for parents to learn how to read and interact well with their children.  The class resumes this Friday, January 11 at 10:00AM in the Fireside Room.
