IT WAS WONDERFUL TO SEE EVERYONE SUNDAY
The re-opening Sunday was amazing. People met in the parking lot to talk and welcome those they had not seen in months. Everyone walked in and social distanced like we are suppose to. Katie had wonderful music. Al, Doug, and Carla did a wonderful drama that fit right in with Pastor Matt’s new sermon series. PRAISE GOD that we are able to get back together.
We will be doing the same this week with doors opening at 10:20 am. There will be hand sanitizer. and masks available for those who need one (we understand that not everyone can wear one medically.) Please wear one in love if you are able. There are offering boxes spread around, and there are not rows of chairs. There will be no Oasis or nursery, but there will be coloring pages and children’s bulletins for them. After the service, you can congregate outside and talk to people. On-line bulletins will still be offered for the time being.
PRAISE TEAM REHEARSALS
Katie is starting Praise Team rehearsals back up. They are on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30 PM in the Worship Center.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT PRAYER MEETING
Wednesday Night Prayer meeting will be meeting this week at 6:45 in classroom 1.
BOOK CLUB
The next book is “A Prayer for Owen Meany,” by John Irving. The date is set for July 15th, at El Burrito Loco at 6:30 pm.
SUPPER CLUBS
I have gotten the sign-up sheets made so they will be available Sunday. There are three: Potluck group, Restaurant group and Let’s cook together group. They will be at the information booth for a month or so.
WELCOME TO CELEBRATION CLASS
We are holding a new Welcome to Celebration class for those interested in learning more about Celebration, and would like to become members. We are looking at the later part of July. Anyone interested, please let Pastor Matt or Mindy know.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
Women’s Bible Study is looking for someone who would be willing to lead the group this summer. If you are interested, please contact Brenda Swanson.
