WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

 

ya1YOUNG ADULT BIBLE STUDYThe young adult Bible continues this Friday at Maggie and Bens house at 7:00 pm.  As of this point, it will be running every Friday night. If you have any questions, please contact them.

Longing in me (2)WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY:  Women’s Bible Study is starting back up  June 23. This year’s Bible study will be based on the book “The Longing in Me,” by Sheila Walsh.  Sandy Hazelmyer needs to know how many books to order, so please give her a call, or let Mindy know that you are interested.  It will be on the Second and Fourth Wednesday of the month from 10am-12  in the Fireside Room.

grad2CELEBRATING OUR SENIORSIt is that time of year again where we at Celebration have seniors that are graduating.  Please show your love and support to our seniors. Below you will find the information for their graduation open houses: 

Matt DuRose (Mona Shores): July 10 from 3:30-6:30 at Steve and Lilia’s
Adrianna Johnson (Reeths Puffer): TBD

19th Wife (2)BOOK CLUBThe next book is “The 19th Wife,” by David Ebershoff. It will be at Brenda Swanson’s house  TOMORROW,  June 17th at 6:30 pm. (Brenda said it is a long one, so you might want to start soon .)

When the church was young (2)CONTINUING SERIES: When The Church Was Young: Christians today still struggle with the same challenges as early  Christians.  How to engage the world with the Good News.  How to live in relationship with other messy Christians.  How to deal with corruption in the  community.  Join us as we see how God worked through his people when the church was young! Up this week is : Cutting out our Secret Sin.

inn useCHURCH USE: There is a Wedding going on at church this weekend, Friday night and Saturday, so please respect the renters and avoid the church at those times.  Thank you.
