WE ARE BACK: As of today, all restrictions are lifted in Michigan. That being said, emails have been sent to all of those on the Sunday morning teams: greeters, coffee, and information booth. Please respond to Kim Rhodes or Mindy if you no longer wish to be on those teams. Roger will be emailing the security team. Oasis will not be starting back up until the fall, and nursery needs people who are willing to work in there one Sunday a month. The Fellowship team is working on their August event. No masks are required any more, so LET’S SEE THOSE WONDERFUL SMILES!!!
YOUNG ADULT BIBLE STUDY: The young adult Bible has been postponed for the time being. They will start back up later in the year with a kick off at church.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY: Sandy Hazelmyer starting Women’s Bible Study. It will be starting TOMORROW June 23, from 10-12 in the Fireside Room. She has chosen the book “The Longing in Me,” by Sheila Walsh.
COUNCIL NEWS: The council made the decision during their council meeting, that instead of one of the new elders being on for 2 years and one for 3 years, that it would be in the church’s best interest to make them both three years. Also, Dick DeBoer has been elected to Council President, and Roger Doctor is Vice-President. The new care elders are listed on the back of the bulletin.
BOOK CLUB: The next book is “Tell the Wolves I’m Home,” by Carol Rifka Brunt . Date, time and place is TBD.
