NEW SERIES STARTING THIS WEEK: Jonah: Have you ever been asked to do something you didn’t want to do? What did you choose to do? Regardless of how you responded, God is the God of second chances. Join us in this new series on the story of Jonah. We’ll explore the path of Jonah and how it might help us in our journey to surrender. This week: Jonah in Us- Jonah 1
BOOK CLUB: The next book is “The Dutch House” by Ann Patchett. It will be next week at the Paisley Pig, Wednesday, October 20th at 6:30 pm.
OASIS: Oasis will begin on October 3, with a 9:30 am OASIS Team meeting the same day. It will be going every other week in the beginning, possibly switching to every week, shortly.
MENTORS NEEDED: Want to make new friends?? Come and join us at Friendship Ministries-a Christian club to work with friends with special needs. It is Thursday nights from 6:30-7:30 September-April with lots of time off. Please consider joining to be a mentor to a special needs friend. Contact Sharon Bergman or Mindy for any questions, or to become a mentor.
TRUNK OR TREAT: We are looking at hosting a Trunk or Treat this year on either Friday, October 29th, or Saturday, October 30th. We are trying to gage if we could get enough people to make it worth hosting the event for the community. There is a sign up sheet on the information booth for us to gage the interest.
