ANNUAL CHILI COOK-OFF: This year the annual Chili Cook-off will be held on October 24th. The fellowship team has a sign-up sheet on the information booth. Trophies will be handed out to the red chili winner and the white.
HAND 2 HAND: Still on standby due to the construction at Campbell, the staff is running behind on a few things. There will be no pack for Hand 2 Hand this week (or next??) due to this. Terri and Sheri will keep us informed when they are given more information.
CONTINUING SERIES: Jonah: Have you ever been asked to do something you didn’t want to do? What did you choose to do? Regardless of how you responded, God is the God of second chances. Join us in this new series on the story of Jonah. We’ll explore the path of Jonah and how it might help us in our journey to surrender. This week: Jonah Obeys.
BOOK CLUB: The next book is “The Dutch House” by Ann Patchett. It will be next week at the Paisley Pig, Wednesday, October 20th at 6:30 pm.
OASIS: Oasis will continue Sunday, October 17. It will be going every other week in the beginning, possibly switching to every week, shortly.
TRUNK OR TREAT: We had 9 people sign up to do the Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 30th. Hoping to talk to a few more people to see if they would be willing to help. We would like to host this community event.
PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH: Starts this Friday, October 1st, and lasts for the entire month. The Fellowship team has a basket in the narthex for cards and notes for Matt. Let’s show how much we appreciate all he does for Celebration.
