3 Things to Know This Week

large_christmas-eve-title77CHRISTMAS EVE – Join us Sunday at 10:30AM for the conclusion of our Advent series “The Grinches that Steal Christmas.”  Invite a friend as we celebrate the coming of Jesus.

PRAY FOR MUSKEGON – December 24th is our day to Pray for Muskegon.  We will have an insert in the bulletin as a guide.  We at Celebration take prayer, talking with God, quite seriously.  Please invest some time next week to lift up the needs of our area to God.

Youth-MinistryYOUTH MINISTRIES BREAK – Spend time this break with your family.  We will meet next on Sunday, January 7, 6:00PM at church!

PRAYERS
Pray for a good and safe trip for Ivy D to the Philipines.
Pray for Steve DuRose and family at the passing away of his aunt Arline.
Pray for Ruth Hinajosa’s co-worker’s wife and sister-in-law who are both having Brain Surgery on Monday.
Pray for those with lingering medical issues.
Pray for further treatments for Lynn Pluger in her battle with Hodgkins Lymphoma.
Praise God for the great Congregational Meeting!
Pray for small groups taking a break for the holidays.  May we keep each other in prayers in this time apart.
Pray for marriages in chaos.  May God work to reconcile after trust has been broken.
Praise God for Chris, friend of the Vredevoogd’s, who has a new job!
“Thank you Lord for the birth of your Son to save us!”
Frank VanHees  writes, “Praise God for being diabetes free!  Thank you Lord!”
Pray for God’s guidance in the start of new relationships.
Pray for Rex Allen’s granddaughter going through some difficult times.
Pray for Mike Kalinowski’s daughter, Katie, who is having some medical issues.  She is in Blodgett Hospital.
Pray for those in need of forgiveness.  Pray for those to be willing to grant forgiveness too.
Praise God for “spiritual talks”.  May we be more bold to bring Jesus into our conversations during the holidays.
Pray for family gatherings coming this month.  May the love of Jesus be the reason for the season.
Pray for those who will be celebrating Christmas for the first time without certain loved ones who have passed away this year.
Pray for financial stability for families with money/spending problems.
Pray for those battling addictions.
Pray for our college students who will be taking semester exams soon.
Pray for those who are feeling low, rejected, and alone.  May God show them how they are priceless in his eyes.
Pray for peace in our world in a time when it seems so far away.
