3 Things to Know This Week

17CongMtgCONGREGATIONAL MEETING – Sunday, Dec 17 after worship.  There is much to discuss and present at the meeting: 2018 budget, plans for the next phase of the Building Project, and reports from our Ministry Teams!

LAST MINUTE? – Sunday, please bring your wrapped “Adopt-A-Person” gift to church and place it under the Giving Tree.  Also, this is the last week to update your info for the directory.

PrayerPRAY FOR MUSKEGON – December 24th is our day to Pray for Muskegon.  We will have an insert in the bulletin as a guide.  We at Celebration take prayer, talking with God, quite seriously.  Please invest some time next week to lift up the needs of our area to God.

PRAYERS
Pray for small groups taking a break for the holidays.  May we keep each other in prayers in this time apart.
Pray for marriages in chaos.  May God work to reconcile after trust has been broken.
Praise God for Chris, friend of the Vredevoogd’s, who has a new job!
“Thank you Lord for the birth of your Son to save us!”
Frank VanHees  writes, “Praise God for being diabetes free!  Thank you Lord!”
Pray for God’s guidance in the start of new relationships.
Pray for Rex Allen’s granddaughter going through some difficult times.
Pray for Mike Kalinowski’s daughter, Katie, who is having some medical issues.  She is in Blodgett Hospital.
Pray for those in need of forgiveness.  Pray for those to be willing to grant forgiveness too.
Praise God for “spiritual talks”.  May we be more bold to bring Jesus into our conversations during the holidays.
Pray for family gatherings coming this month.  May the love of Jesus be the reason for the season.
Pray for those who will be celebrating Christmas for the first time without certain loved ones who have passed away this year.
Pray for financial stability for families with money/spending problems.
Pray for those battling addictions.
Pray for Brandon Eenigenburg’s friend Sam whose dad died of Cancer last week.
Pray for our college students who will be taking semester exams soon.
Pray for those who are feeling low, rejected, and alone.  May God show them how they are priceless in his eyes.
Pray for peace in our world in a time when it seems so far away.
Praise God for Ein Yount, nephew of Terri Albrecht, who was baptized on Sunday.  May God bless his Journey with Jesus.

World Missions Prayers: PRAY FOR GREENLAND
Pray for tight-knit communities to be spiritually renewed by God’s power.
Pray for the health and strength of national missionaries traveling to remote villages under harsh conditions.
Pray for those suffering from depression and alcoholism to find healing and deliverance in Jesus Christ.
