PRAY FOR MUSKEGON – December 24th is our day to Pray for Muskegon.  We will have an insert in the bulletin as a guide.  We at Celebration take prayer, talking with God, quite seriously.  Please invest some time next week to lift up the needs of our area to God.

Youth-MinistryYOUTH MINISTRIES BREAK – Spend time this break with your family.  We will meet next on Sunday, January 7, 6:00PM at church!

Pray for marriages in chaos.  May God work to reconcile after trust has been broken.
Praise God for Chris, friend of the Vredevoogd’s, who has a new job!

17CongMtgCONGREGATIONAL MEETING – Sunday, Dec 17 after worship.  There is much to discuss and present at the meeting: 2018 budget, plans for the next phase of the Building Project, and reports from our Ministry Teams!

LAST MINUTE? – Sunday, please bring your wrapped “Adopt-A-Person” gift to church and place it under the Giving Tree.  Also, this is the last week to update your info for the directory.

Celebration Midweek – Dec. 6

PartyYOUTH GROUP CHRISTMAS PARTY – Sunday, December 10, 6:00PM at church.  Bring 4 things: 1) a White Elephant Gift, 2) food for the meal, 3) an Ugly Christmas Sweater, and 4) a friend you’ve invited to the party!  There will be lots of games and food!  See you there!

NEW DIRECTORY – This is the last week to update your information for the new pictorial directory.  We planto have it ready before Christmas.  Remember, this is one of the ways we use to help people to connect with each other at Celebration.  Please contact Lynn Pluger or Pastor Matt to update your information.

GrinchADVENT – Advent is a time of awaiting Jesus coming into our world.  As Christians, we want to be ACTIVELY WAITING, to be fully present in the moment.  We know God is always working in our world to bring peace to his people.  May we all actively await Jesus in this Advent season and the year to come!

GrinchADVENT: The Grinches that Steal Christmas – There are too many things that can steal the joy of Christmas.  This Christmas at Celebration, we’re going to expose those “Grinch’s” and bring our hearts back to what Christmas is all about.  It’s going to be a fun-filled series that will bring hope and joy for the season!
