CELEBRATION’S MIDWEEK UPDATES

COMMUNITY EUCHRE NIGHT
THIS FRIDAY….Come and join us for a night of Euchre on January 10, from 6:30-8:30 PM.  All are welcome. Bring a snack to share, and something to drink.  Open to all ages.  We have 8 person tables set up, but would really appreciate it if those of you who are coming would be willing to bring any and all card tables that you have…it would make it easier.

BOOK CLUB
The next book club book is “The Bookman’s Tale,” by Charles Lovett.  Their next meeting time and place is TBD.

SOUP AND SALAD LUNCHEON
January 19th, is the annual Soup and Salad Luncheon.  It will be in the Fireside Room after the service.  There is a sign-up sheet on the information table.

CANDIDATE FOR OUR DIRECTOR OF WORSHIP AND ARTS
We will be having one of our candidates for our Director of Worship and Arts lead worship THIS SUNDAY, January 12th.   There will be a short question and answer period with her after the service.  This is an important step in filling the position, and everyone’s opinion is needed.  Please plan on attending.

COUNCIL MEETING
There is a council meeting on Sunday, January 12th.  It will have a little bit different of a format with a question and answer for our Director of Worship and Arts candidate being part of it, then will continue as normal.

SEEKERS SMALL GROUP
Seekers will be meeting this Sunday,  January 5th, after the service.  You will be continuing on with Joshua, chapters 9-17.
